WORLD LITERACY SUMMIT at Oxford University (United Kingdom)
Maria La Selva was invited to present at the World Literacy Summit at Oxford University (United Kingdom) in 2023 and 2025, joining leading experts from over 85 countries.
She was also nominated as a finalist in the World Literacy Awards, which recognises individuals and organisations for outstanding contributions to literacy and meaningful global impact.
Her work advocates for the critical importance of advancing global literacy, with a particular focus on emotional literacy and its role in supporting children’s mental health, as well as their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
